"Sharma had just one film, Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, in the time period we've mapped for this report. The film did just about average business at the box office. She has since zoomed ahead with two more films-Yash Chopra's Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Vishal Bharadwaj's Matru ki Bijli ka Mandola. She won Zee Cinema's International Icon award. Sharma started the year with an eyeball-grabbing cover shoot with Vogue magazine. The endorsements have spiralled too; she ranks among A-list endorsers like Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. But sceptics await her 2013 releases (Peekay and Bombay Velvet) before they pronounce the lady a success. She is reported to have said, "Thanks to the endorsements, I don\'t need to do crap films."
